Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Welcome to SARPA's first Virtual Scavenger hunt! In light of current events, SARPA wants to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to participate, no matter their location or ability; that is why this is a Virtual Scavenger Hunt! You can participate by walking along the avenue in person or by clicking through google maps.

If you can find the subject of our hunt, take a selfie with it and share it with us on our Instagram or Facebook using #SARPAhunt! Leave us a comment or post a photo to enter the scavenger hunt and be eligible to win a gift certificate to Golden Fig Fine Foods.

The lucky winner will be randomly selected and announced on Friday, October 30th, 2020.

The Hint:
Paul Manship, the sculptor of the famous work "Prometheus" (pictured and located at Rockefeller Center in New York City) was born in St. Paul in 1885. His studio is credited with creating over 700 works of art; one of which is proudly displayed on Summit Avenue!

Do you know the name of that statue, or where it is along the avenue? We invite you to tell us the name or location, the history of the statue, or maybe even a fun memory you have from this location.
